  • 1370 Rock Creek Road, Potlatch, ID 83855

Hosted by LHG of Latah County, ID

Join us on August 11th at Johnson's Heritage Farmstead in Potlatch for a farm tour and seed saving talk. They raise Irish Dexter cattle, Shetland sheep, Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs, heritage chicken breeds, turkeys, and honey bees! Michelle Johnson will take us on a tour of her farmstead and share her farming journey with us, then she will teach us about saving seeds from our gardens. If you borrowed seeds from the seed library, this is a talk you won't want to miss!

Our Gathering starts at 5pm with 30-minutes to socialize. We invite you to join us to chat and get to know one another. We can't wait to meet you!

There will also be an opportunity for you to borrow from our chapter's seed library. If you want to help our seed library to grow, please consider bringing a few heirloom seeds packets. We'll even give you an extra entry in our raffle for every seed packet you bring to donate!

Remember, homesteading doesn't mean you have to do it all yourself.... come build a homesteading support system.

ALL LEVELS of interest and experience in homesteading are welcome! No acreage or livestock required. The homesteading journey is different for each of us. We respect and celebrate that! This group is all about doing things at HOME inSTEAD of going to the store.
